TTOC/TTCGA ATHLETES COMMISSION ELECTIONS 2024

Are you and Olympian or part of the Paris 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Team?

Nominations are now being accepted for the last two spots for the TTOC/TTCGA Athletes Commission. These two spots are strictly for Olympians or from the Paris 2024 Olympic and or Paralympic Team. You can select any two (2) athlete from the list provided, but no more than one (1) athlete in any given sport.

The nominations are based on the following eligibility criteria outlined below:


Eligibility:

  1. Be at least 18 years of age (not more than 40 years old); 
  2. Not have been sanctioned for a doping offence in their sporting career;
  3. *Either: be a participant in the Summer Olympic Games/Paralympic Games or the Winter Olympic Games within the last 10 years;
  4. Be able to demonstrate they have many of the following desirable skills, knowledge and experience to assist the AC fulfil its objectives and activities: project planning, problem solving, creative thinking, conflict resolution, Microsoft office/computer literacy, able to work in a team oriented environment and take lead on initiatives.
  5. Reside in the country and or make sure they are available to attend (either in person or by Virtual Platform) a minimum of three meetings per year.


After the 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games, from the 9th - 12th September 2024, the election will be held via the TeamTTO’s website to fill two spots from the nominations received. This will be from the participants  who competed in the Summer Olympic Games/Paralympic Games within the last 10 years (2016/2020/2024).

Please note that all nominations must be submitted via the nomination link below on or before 6th September 2024.

No current member, listed below, of the TTOC/TTCGA Athletes Commission would be eligible to be nominated/elected again as they are already apart of the AC.
